President Zourabichvili: Ukraine fighting for our future

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has told C Politique that Ukrainians are currently fighting for Georgians, western Europeans.

“The fight for our future is taking place in Ukraine,” she said.

Zourabichvili stated that European security is dependent  on the outcome of the ongoing Russia’s war in Ukraine.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24.

The EU is preparing new package sanctions against Russia after the footage of a massacre in the town of Bucha, near Kyiv, went viral on the weekend.
