An official welcoming ceremony for the President of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, has been held at the Presidential Palace in Tbilisi.

Milanović was hosted by President Mikheil Kavelashvili. The ceremony included the performance of the national anthems of Georgia and Croatia, and the two leaders introduced members of their respective delegations.

As part of the official visit, Kavelashvili and Milanović are scheduled to hold both one-on-one and expanded-format meetings at the Presidential Palace. A joint statement to the media is expected following the talks.
