Protest rally titled “Reclaim Your Voice” to be held in Tbilisi on Sunday evening

On November 17, a protest titled “Reclaim Your Voice” is set to take place in front of the Georgian Parliament in Tbilisi at 19:00. The event will highlight the observations of election monitors from across the country regarding alleged irregularities during the October 26 parliamentary elections.

Legal experts will present their assessments of the reported violations, while protest organizers will outline a roadmap toward achieving a fair and transparent election process.

Student groups have announced their participation, planning marches from various locations to Rustaveli Avenue, underscoring their demand for a democratic and European future.

In a statement, the students condemned what they described as the October 26 elections being “hijacked by the Georgian Dream regime.”

“The summary protocol released by the Central Election Commission does not reflect the genuine will and decision of the Georgian people. It is our duty to defend the voices stolen from us and protect the European future that has been taken away,” the statement reads.

On November 16, the Central Election Commission approved the summary protocol of the October 26 parliamentary elections. According to which, the ruling Georgian Dream received a total of 53.93% votes and will be represented in the parliament with 89 mandates.
