Putin reacted to US threats about consequences in case of Navalny’s death

The United States has threatened Moscow with consequences if Russian opposition leader Alexey Navalny dies in prison. The Kremlin "did not take it in any way."
This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, reports TASS.
He also recalled that during the telephone conversation between the presidents of the Russian Federation and the United States, the topic of the Navalny case was not raised.
"We do not accept such statements made by representatives of other states in any way," Peskov said.
Earlier, President Joe Biden's national security adviser Jake Sullivan said that the US government had warned the Russian authorities about the consequences if Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny dies in prison. Specific measures were not disclosed.
Note, Navalny's supporters say that the health of the 44-year-old critic of the Kremlin is rapidly deteriorating, his press secretary says that he is "dying". According to doctors, the oppositionist is at increased risk of kidney failure and heart problems.
