Russian President Vladimir Putin has agreed to a 30-day moratorium on attacks on energy infrastructure during a conversation with US President Donald Trump, according to reports.

Sources indicate that Putin supported Trump’s proposal for a mutual halt to attacks on energy facilities by both Russia and Ukraine for 30 days and issued corresponding orders to his military.

However, Putin rejected a broader US proposal for a complete ceasefire for the same period, as confirmed by Kremlin statements.

The Russian president outlined conditions under which a cessation of hostilities could occur, including halting Ukraine’s military mobilization, stopping military aid, and ceasing the supply of intelligence information.
