Military personnel from Georgia’s Special Operations Command returned from the UK with gold medals after excelling in the prestigious Cambrian Patrol 2024 competition held in Wales.

Competing against 35 nations, the Georgian team achieved the best results in the grueling military exercise.

According to the Georgian Ministry of Defense, the soldiers were welcomed at Tbilisi International Airport by Special Operations Command Chief Colonel Teimuraz Klateishvili and other military officials, who congratulated them on their success.

Organized annually by the British Army since 1959, Cambrian Patrol is renowned as one of the most challenging military endurance tests, aimed at enhancing the operational capabilities of reconnaissance units. It is led by the 160th Infantry Brigade in Wales.
