Levan Diasamidze appointed Georgian Ambassador to Kazakhstan

The Ministry noted that Diasamidze holds the diplomatic rank of Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

Levan Diasamidze has been appointed as Georgia’s new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia announced on Wednesday.
Diasamidze brings a long-standing career in diplomacy and foreign service, having held multiple senior positions within the Ministry and Georgian missions abroad. Since 2022, he has served as Georgia’s ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, the foreign office said.
Between 2019 and 2022, Diasamidze was the Consul General of Georgia in Frankfurt am Main. He has also previously served as Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Germany and Austria.
Domestically, Diasamidze held key roles within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Deputy Director of the Department for Relations with Neighbouring Countries and Regions and Deputy Head of the Military-Political Department.
The Ministry noted that Diasamidze holds the diplomatic rank of Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
