The Georgian-American School Progress in partnership with the United States Embassy in Georgia and with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia announces an essay competition.

The 10th, 11th and 12th graders across the country will have the opportunity to participate in the competition on the topic “my country’s democratic future”.

The registration process is scheduled to be completed at 18:00 on February 24.

The contest is dedicated to the memory of fallen Georgian cadets defending the country during the February 1921 Red Army invasion, with the goal to promote democratic values among students.

Works can be submitted/written both in Georgian and in English.

The winner will go to the US in August to attend the United Nations’ annual Change the World Model UN Conference.

The first, second and third runners will receive certificates from the US Embassy, as well as full funding for the American High School (AP) programme and a corresponding American accredited diploma from the Georgian-American School Progress.
