Rescuers on foot, helicopter involved to save stranded tourists in Tetnuldi peak

A group of rescuers on foot and also a border police helicopter has been called  to help foreign tourists on the peak Tetnuld in Svaneti, one of the major peaks in the Caucasus mountain range, reaching 4,858 metres, the Georgian Emergency Management Service said on Friday. 

 

The agency stressed that the location of the tourists has already been determined. 

 

According to preliminary reports, there should be about seven foreign tourists.
