Georgian right-wing politician and businessman Levan Vashadze, who entered politics in May 2021, says that along with AL-type amyloidosis, he has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, which is a type of blood cancer, and said that the illness could be triggered by radiation or intoxication following he founded the Unity, Essence, Hope political movement.
Vashadze says that he was a ‘very healthy’ man and all the issues emerged after he announced his political plans.
Earlier this year Vashadze, who is supporting the church positions and was active against LGBT events and Tbilisi Pride, said that he addressed Turkish and Russian clinics to find out reasons behind his complicated health.
The majority of Georgian politicians say that Vasadze is ‘Russia’s man.’
Vasadze said neither the ruling party nor the opposition were able to run the country properly and the reality pushed him to enter politics.
