Michael Roth, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the German Bundestag, voiced disappointment over the talks between French President Emmanuel Macron and the ruling Georgian Dream party founder and leader, Bidzina Ivanishvili. Roth criticized the discussions, saying they had clearly led to no meaningful results.

He called for European leaders to visit pro-European Georgians to show solidarity and support in light of the ongoing political crisis.

”For a change, a European leader could visit the pro-European Georgians to express solidarity and support.

All eyes on Georgia!” Roth stated.
