Roth: Georgia in danger of falling into hands of only Global War Party- Russia

Georgia risks falling under the influence of the “only Global War Party – Russia,” warned Michael Roth, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the German Bundestag, in a critique of the ruling Georgian Dream party’s nomination of a presidential candidate with an anti-Western stance.

In a tweet, Roth accused the ruling party of prioritizing power over national unity, leaving the country exposed to external threats.

“The ruling party wants all the power. It does not want to reconcile the divided country. Georgia is in danger of falling into the hands of the only Global War Party – Russia”, he said.

The ruling GD party calls Global War Party an unspecified force in the West, which they claim wants to bring chaos in the country and drag Georgia into the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.
