Romanian Foreign Minister Oana-Silvia Țoiu highlighted that, currently, the people of Georgia were contributing more to the country’s European integration than its institutions or government.

Speaking ahead of a meeting of EU foreign ministers on Monday, Țoiu described this civic engagement as a sign of societal resilience and emphasized the need for continued dialogue and investment to support Georgia on its European path.

She also underlined that Romania remained committed to its strategic partnership with Georgia and stressed the importance of cooperation in the region, particularly around the Black Sea, amid concerns over recent developments in Georgia.
