The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated figures on Russia’s combat losses, estimating that Moscow has lost approximately 1,136,890 troops - killed or wounded - since the start of its full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022. The latest update reflects an increase of 800 personnel over the past 24 hours.
According to the Ukrainian military, Russia’s total estimated losses between February 25, 2022, and October 27, 2025, are as follows:
Tanks: 11,293 (+2)
Armored combat vehicles: 23,480 (+3)
Artillery systems: 34,036 (+34)
Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 1,527 (+1)
Air defense systems: 1,230 (no change)
Aircraft: 428 (no change)
Helicopters: 346 (no change)
Operational-tactical UAVs: 74,946 (+547)
Cruise missiles: 3,880 (no change)
Boats/fast attack craft: 28 (no change)
Submarines: 1 (no change)
Vehicles and fuel tanks: 65,655 (+138)
