Ukraine says Russian battlefield losses reach 1.17mln

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said on Saturday that Russia had lost about 1,171,700 military personnel — a figure that includes both those killed and wounded — from February 24, 2022 to November 29, 2025.

This reflects an increase of 910 since the previous update.

The body also reported the following cumulative Russian equipment losses during the same period:

  • Tanks: 11,381 (+1)

  • Armored combat vehicles: 23,658 (+15)

  • Artillery systems: 34,733 (+3)

  • Multiple launch rocket systems: 1,550 (+0)

  • Air defence systems: 1,253 (+0)

  • Aircraft: 430 (+2)

  • Helicopters: 347 (+0)

  • Operational-tactical UAVs: 85,343 (+106)

  • Cruise missiles: 3,995 (+0)

  • Fast boats/ships: 28 (+0)

  • Submarines: 1 (+0)

  • Vehicles and fuel trucks: 68,463 (+64)

  • Special equipment: 4,010 (+2)
