Ukraine said Russia had lost approximately 1,256,910 personnel since 25 February 2022

Ukraine’s Armed Forces have published updated figures on Russia’s alleged battlefield losses since the start of the full-scale invasion in February 2022.

In its latest update, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said Russia had lost approximately 1,256,910 personnel since 25 February 2022, including an additional 830 over the past 24 hours. The figures included those killed and wounded, according to the statement.

The General Staff also released updated estimates of equipment losses between 25 February 2022 and 19 February 2026. According to the Ukrainian military, Russia has lost:

  • 11,682 tanks (+1)

  • 24,054 armoured combat vehicles (+3)

  • 37,384 artillery systems (+21)

  • 1,649 multiple launch rocket systems (+1)

  • 1,302 air defence systems (+0)

  • 435 aircraft (+0)

  • 347 helicopters (+0)

  • 138,330 operational-tactical level drones (+406)

  • 4,314 cruise missiles (+0)

  • 29 fast attack craft/light boats (+1)

  • 2 submarines (+0)

  • 79,036 vehicles and fuel tanks (+117)

  • 4,072 pieces of special equipment (+1)
