The latest figures confirmed that at least six people were killed in Kyiv.

The Russian military launched more than 350 drones and missiles overnight, according to Ukrainian authorities.

The main target of the assault was the capital, Kyiv, the Ukrainian Air Force reported on Monday. A total of 352 Iranian-made Shahed attack drones, 11 Iskander-M and KN-23 ballistic missiles, and five Iskander-K cruise missiles were used in the coordinated strike.

Ukraine’s air defence systems reportedly intercepted and destroyed 354 incoming aerial threats. However, officials said that several missiles and drones managed to penetrate defences, causing damage and casualties.

Direct strikes were recorded at six locations in Kyiv and its surrounding region, while debris from intercepted projectiles fell in at least 25 other locations.

The latest figures confirmed that at least six people were killed in Kyiv, with dozens more injured. Fires broke out in several districts of the capital after residential and administrative buildings were hit.

In a separate strike on the northern Chernihiv region, Russian forces reportedly killed two people, including one child. Local authorities confirmed that several children were wounded in the attack.
