Russia has banned Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson, along with other high officials, from entering the country over the UK’s stance on the ongoing war in Ukraine.

The UK’s Deputy PM Dominic Raab, Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, Defence Secretary Ben Wallace and various other senior politicians have also been banned from entering Russia.

The Russian Foreign Ministry claimed the British leadership was ‘deliberately aggravating the situation around Ukraine.’

“London’s unbridled information and political campaign aimed at isolating Russia internationally, creating conditions for containing our country and strangling the domestic economy,” the Russian MFA said.
