Russia hurt Moldova, tried to break, divide Georgia – Zelenskyy address EPC Summit

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Thursday addressed the third European Political Community Summit in Spain and stressed by starting wars and later freezing them Moscow had been trying to maintain control over neighboring states for decades. 

He noted all nations which had experienced Russian aggression should have acted in “close coordination and unanimously”. 

“Russia has hurt Moldova, tried to break and divide Georgia, destabilized other parts of the Caucasus, is strangling Belarus and trying to tear parts from the body of Ukraine”, he said., and added “we must all remain in special unity, together in special cooperation and special relations with everyone else in the European Union”. 

Zelenskyy highlighted the importance of a “special support format” for the countries that  had become  targets of Russian attacks, and urged the international community to “never allow Russia to freeze conflicts”.
