The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights on Monday said 143 civilians, including four children, were killed in Ukraine over the past 30 days, with 605 others injured.

On Monday another six civilians, including one child, were killed in a rocket attack on the city of Krivoy Rog and 75 were wounded, it said.

The UN Human Rights Commission added 125 civilians were killed in 137 settlements controlled by the Ukrainian government and 18 in 14 settlements occupied by Russia between July 1-30. 138 people were killed by rockets and shells, and five people were killed by the explosion of mines.

9,369 civilians were killed and 16,646 wounded in Ukraine from the outbreak of hostilities, between February 24, 2022 to July 30, 2023, the UN body said, adding the data was not accurate as its experts had no access to Mariupol, Lisichansk and other cities where thousands of civilians have been reported killed.
