Russian forces launch guided air bombs, missiles at Ukraine

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with guided air bombs and missiles, according to reports from Ukrainian media based on information from the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Monday. 

An air alert has been declared across the country in response to the attacks.

“KAB tactical aviation launched in the Kharkiv region! Threat of ballistic weapons from the south! Missile detected in the north-west direction of the Mykolaiv region!” the Air Force announced.

Rockets have also been observed heading towards other districts.

The Kyiv District Military Administration reported that air defense systems were active in both the district and the capital. 

Simultaneously, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that explosions were heard in the capital.
