Washington has decided to change the government in Georgia following the parliamentary elections in October, according to the Russian state news agency TASS, which on Tuesday cited the press office of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service.

“The information received by the Foreign Intelligence Service indicates Washington’s firm decision to change the government based on the results of the parliamentary elections scheduled for October 26 of this year in Georgia”, it said.

The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service also claimed that the US administration had already developed an information campaign to discredit the ruling party, Georgian Dream.

“Joe Biden’s administration has already developed a large-scale information campaign to discredit the ruling party, Georgian Dream,” the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service noted.
