Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday warned Ukrainians of “continuous” attacks by Russian troops with the Iranian kamikaze drones.

He said over the past two days his country’s air defence forces had downed 80 Iranian drones launched by the Russians.

“In the near future, this number may increase, because the nights in these weeks can be quite restless. We have information that Russia is planning a long-term attack with Shaheed drones”, he said.

In his previous comments Zelenskyy said Russia and Iran would be equally held accountable for their actions against Ukraine.
