Georgian police detained Elene Khoshtaria, leader of the opposition Droa party, along with several citizens on Rustaveli Avenue during an ongoing protest in Tbilisi.

Earlier, authorities also detained two young women, one of whom was holding a banner that read: “Antsukhelidze is Immortal.”

Despite the detentions and police presence, demonstrators continued their protest, blocking Rustaveli Avenue once again today as part of their ongoing resistance.

Law enforcement officers remain deployed at the scene to control the situation.
