Imprisoned former president Mikheil Saakashvili says that he will attend his trial tomorrow and says what he wants to say.

His comment on Facebook came after the judgment of Tbilisi City Court on Khazaradze-Japaridze case.

Saakashvili claims that the court has developed a ‘fake verdict,’ but the Georgian Dream government was afraid to send the founders of TBC Bank and the leaders of Lelo opposition party Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze to prison.

Saakashvili was unable to attend previous trials due to his health.

He was sentenced to six years in prison in absentia for abuse of power back in 2018.

Saakashvili is also charged with illegal rally dispersal, illegal seizure of property, illegal crossing of border and other cases.
