Ukraine’s military also listed cumulative equipment losses

Ukraine’s armed forces have released updated figures on Russia’s military losses since the start of Moscow’s full-scale invasion in February 2022.

The General Staff in Kyiv said on Wednesday  Russia had lost an estimated 1,078,750 troops - killed or wounded - as of 27 August. The report claimed that 920 personnel were lost in the past 24 hours alone.

Ukraine’s military also listed cumulative equipment losses, including:

11,135 tanks (+1)

23,178 armoured vehicles

32,024 artillery systems (+45)

1,472 multiple rocket launchers

1,212 air defence systems (+1)

422 aircraft

340 helicopters

53,636 drones (+194)

3,598 cruise missiles

28 boats

1 submarine

59,887 vehicles and fuel tanks (+118)

3,950 specialised equipment units (+2)

The General Staff said that on 26 August alone, around 130 combat clashes were recorded across the frontline.
