Tragedy in occupied Gali: Fire claims lives of five children

A devastating fire in the village of Saberio, located in the occupied Gali district, has claimed the lives of five children. The tragic incident occurred early this morning.

According to initial reports, the parents of the children were not at home at the time of the fire. The children’s grandmother reportedly attempted to light a stove using gasoline, which resulted in an uncontrollable blaze that engulfed the house.

Emergency services were unable to reach the scene in time to extinguish the fire. The children, the eldest of whom was 8 years old and the youngest just 1 year old, perished at the scene.

The injured grandmother has been transported to a hospital in Gali for treatment. Further details are being investigated.
