Moldovan carrier Vision Air will begin operating regular flights between the capitals of Georgia and Moldova starting Sunday, Georgian Civil Aviation Agency announced on Friday.

The Agency added the airline would initially operate one weekly flight on the Chișinău–Tbilisi–Chișinău route every Sunday, later increasing the frequency. Beginning November 13, a second weekly flight will be added on Thursdays and from December 16, the airline will operate three flights per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

The Agency granted Vision Air an operating permit for regular air services on October 10.

Vision Air, a Moldovan-registered airline, began operations this summer in partnership with Ukrainian carrier SkyUp Airlines. Currently, another Moldovan airline, FLYONE, also operates flights between Moldova and Georgia.
