Georgian Ambassador presents credentials to French President, discusses deepening bilateral cooperation

Irakli Kurashvili, Georgian Ambassador to France, on Monday presented his credentials to French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace.

Following the ceremony, the two held a discussion on prospects for deepening cooperation between Georgia and France, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia said.

President Macron expressed support for Georgia’s territorial integrity, sovereignty, and European aspirations, emphasising the country’s geostrategic role and the importance of ensuring peace and stability in the Black Sea region, the body added.

Speaking on behalf of the Government, Kurashvili highlighted Georgia’s readiness to strengthen its partnership with France.
