A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of exchanging governmental experience has been signed between the Government of Georgia and the Government of the United Arab Emirates.
The document was signed by Head of the Administration of the Government of Georgia Levan Zhorzholiani and UAE Minister of State and Secretary General of the Cabinet Mariam Al Hammadi.
Zhorzholiani noted that the memorandum will promote the mutual sharing of successful practices, the improvement of governance, and the introduction of innovative approaches in public administration.
“The memorandum envisages the exchange of experience between governments in such important areas as strategic planning and the implementation of strategic documents. In this direction, we have an ongoing project that involves the introduction of an electronic monitoring system aimed at achieving strategic goals,” Zhorzholiani said.
The signing ceremony took place in Dubai on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit, where the Georgian delegation is participating under the leadership of Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
