US State Department official visits Georgia for meetings with Gov’t and business representatives

A representative of the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs of the United States Department of State is currently visiting Georgia, the United States Embassy in Georgia said on Monday.

The Embassy said Peter Andreoli will meet with members of the Government, private sector and wider Georgian society during his visit.

In addition to meetings in the capital, Andreoli is scheduled to travel to Black Sea port city of Poti to review US investment at the port and will also visit the administrative boundary line.

“We are pleased to welcome Peter Andreoli to Georgia,” the Embassy said in a statement, outlining the scope of the visit.
