Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has signed a decree extending financial assistance for Ukrainian citizens residing in Georgia until April 1, 2026, as part of the Government’s socio-economic support measures in response to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Under the programme, Ukrainian families living in Georgia will continue to receive a monthly allowance of ₾300 ($111.78) per household, along with an additional ₾45 ($16.77) per individual. The assistance will be distributed by the Social Service Agency, based on beneficiary lists provided by the IDPs, Eco-Migrants and Livelihood Agency.
According to the decree, the ₾45 individual allowance will be discontinued from the following month for beneficiaries who obtain the right to receive a monthly subsistence benefit under Georgia’s Law on International Protection and/or leave the territory of Georgia. The ₾300 household allowance will also be terminated from the following month if all members of a beneficiary family leave the country.
