Jake Sullivan, the US National Security Advisor, expressed serious concerns regarding the trajectory of democratic institutions and the electoral process in Georgia.

“We have clearly articulated our worries about the state of democratic institutions and the electoral process in Georgia, and we remain concerned about this,” Sullivan stated.

He emphasized that the future of Georgia should ultimately be decided by the Georgian people through free and fair elections.

“I don’t believe anyone in Georgia wants to see their country fall under the influence of another nation’s interests, including China,” he added, reinforcing the importance of national sovereignty and the integrity of the electoral process.
