Salome Zourabichvili meets Kaja Kallas, urges int’l support for Georgia

Georgia’s fifth President President Salome Zourabichvili met with Kaja Kallas, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, to discuss the ongoing political situation in Georgia.

In a post on X, Zourabichvili stated that she conveyed appeals from Georgian media representatives, calling for increased support from international partners. She stressed that “new free and fair elections are the only way out of the crisis in Georgia.”

Kallas and Zourabichvili are taking part in the 61st Munich Security Conference (MSC) that takes place from February 14 to 16, 2025 in Munich.
