Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has praised the unity demonstrated by Georgia’s national minorities in their shared aspiration for a European future. Writing on the social platform X, she remarked, “There are not many countries that can unite all national minorities in one march for their European future.”

The president also highlighted the growing momentum of public demonstrations. “Protests are approaching the one-month mark, citizens are demanding significant changes,” she stated.

The nationwide protests were sparked by the Government’s decision last month to suspend EU accession talks until 2028.
