Salome Zourabichvili meets with Donald Trump Jr. and future US administration officials

The fifth President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, has met with Donald Trump Jr., the son of US President-elect Donald Trump, and several members of the incoming administration during her visit to the United States.

US Congressman Joe Wilson, Chair of the Helsinki Commission, shared the news on social media, expressing his gratitude for facilitating the introductions.

“I was grateful to introduce the President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, to the President’s son,” Wilson wrote on X. He added he was glad to ”bring together two great patriots, President Zourabichvili and Secretary of State-designate Marco Rubio, to safeguard the strong US-Georgia relationship and defeat the tyrannical Ivanishvili regime. Two amazing people who are working to do so much good in the world.”
