President Zourabichvili congratulates Patriarch Ilia II on 47th anniversary of enthronement

President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Holiness Ilia II, the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, on the 47th anniversary of his enthronement.

“I congratulate His Holiness on the 47th anniversary of his enthronement with great love and respect! Today, more than ever, Georgia needs your prayers and blessings! I regret that I did not have the opportunity to personally congratulate you on this day,” Zourabichvili wrote.

The Catholicos-Patriarch marked the milestone on December 25, commemorating nearly five decades of spiritual leadership in Georgia.
