Georgian President congratulates Trump, emphasises need for US support in Euro-Atlantic integration

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has congratulated Donald Trump on his election, underscoring the importance of US support for Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations, regional security, and independence.

Zourabichvili extended her congratulations on her X account, highlighting the longstanding strategic partnership between Georgia and the United States.

“A strong US- our strategic partner and friend of 33 years – is needed now more than ever,” Zourabichvili said, emphasising US support as crucial to advancing Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration, enhancing regional stability, and safeguarding Georgia’s independence.
