After another night of violent clashes in Tbilisi, Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili criticized the Georgian government in her post on X on early Sunday.

“Another violent night in Tbilisi. The illegitimate government resorts to illegal means to silence Georgians standing firm for their constitutional, European choice,” the President wrote.

Her comments come amid ongoing protests in the Georgian capital, where citizens have taken to the streets to demand alignment with European values and greater political accountability. The unrest follows a controversial announcement by the ruling party to halt The EU integration process until 2028.
