One arrested in Georgia after police seize cocaine, alpha-PVP and mephedrone

Georgian police have arrested one person on charges of illegally purchasing and possessing particularly large quantities of drugs and facilitating their sale.

Officers seized particularly large quantities of various drugs prepared for sale during searches of the suspect and their residence, as well as from locations identified by the accused during an investigative experiment.

The seized drugs included cocaine, alpha-PVP and nearly 50 grams of mephedrone, including 48 packages prepared for sale.

Police also seized materials allegedly used to package drugs.

The offences carry penalties of up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
