In recent days, dozens of demonstrators have been detained on Rustaveli Avenue for blocking traffic or wearing face masks during protests

At least 15 people have reportedly been detained on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi for allegedly blocking the road during an antigovernmental demonstration.

Among those detained are journalist Vasil Ivanon-Chikovani and his wife, Maiko Bokeria. The others include Giorgi Liponava, Anuka Gamsakhurdia, Davit Mshvenieradze, Tengo Kirtadze, Zurab Tsetskhladze, Nino Lagidze, Bacho Khimutsadze, Lasha Bregvadze, Natia Letodiani, Dani Maghradze, Achi Gochitashvili, Giorgi Melitauri, and Zviad Kvaratskhelia.
