An official welcoming ceremony for Georgian President Mihail Kavelashvili was held at the Serbian Presidential Palace, where he was received by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.

During the visit, Kavelashvili is scheduled to meet President Vučić both in a bilateral format and in expanded talks, followed by a joint statement to the media. He is also expected to meet the Serbian Prime Minister and National Assembly Speaker.

The Georgian delegation includes Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili, MPs Irakli Mezurnishvili, Irma Zavradashvili, and Guram Macharashvili, Georgian Ambassador to Serbia Levan Beridze, and representatives from the Presidential Administration.

President Kavelashvili’s official visit to Belgrade will conclude on 19 December.
