Sergo Chikhladze praises Khatia Dekanoidze’s addition to Unity – National Movement

Sergo Chikhladze, a member of the Unity – United National Movement opposition coalition, on Wednesday emphasized the importance of Khatia Dekanoidze joining the party, highlighting her extensive “experience, political background, and valuable connections”.

Chikhladze noted that Dekanoidze’s return was a unanimous decision among the leadership, reflecting the party’s commitment to unity and a European future for Georgia.

“Dekanoidze, with her own experience, political past, and connections, is an important addition to Unity. We made this decision through consensus, and we unequivocally welcome her,” Chikhladze said. “Her presence strengthens our movement, and in the coming weeks, many more will follow her lead and join Unity.'”

Dekanoidze, an MP of the Eurooptimists, will assume the role of deputy chairman of the national committee within Unity – National Movement.
