Several flights disrupted at Tbilisi airport due to fog, adverse weather conditions

Due to heavy fog and adverse weather conditions, several flights were disrupted at the largest airport in Tbilisi, Georgia. Flights originating from Moscow, Yerevan, Baku, and Tehran were unable to land at Tbilisi International Airport.
According to the airport’s press office, the aircraft operated by Georgian Airways, en route from Moscow to Tbilisi, was diverted and landed in Kutaisi, western Georgia. Meanwhile, flights operated by three other airlines – Air Dilijans, AZAL, and Qeshm Air – opted to return to their respective departure points.
No other delays or disruptions have been reported so far.
