Georgian parliament speaker travels to Montenegro for parliamentary summit

The summit programme includes a speech by Papuashvili, as well as bilateral meetings with parliamentary speakers from various countries

The Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, has travelled to Montenegro on an official visit to attend the first summit of speakers of parliaments from member and partner states of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM), being held in the city of Budva.
According to the Georgian Parliament’s press office, Papuashvili will participate in the summit in his capacity as President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC).
The summit programme includes a speech by Papuashvili, as well as bilateral meetings with parliamentary speakers from various countries.
The Georgian delegation, led by the parliament speaker, also includes Irakli Mezurnishvili, First Deputy Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy and head of Georgia’s permanent delegation to PABSEC.
