Georgian Parliament Speaker embarks on official visit to Hungary

Shalva Papuashvili, the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, has departed for an official visit to Hungary.

According to the press service, Papuashvili is scheduled to hold high-level meetings in Budapest, Hungary’s capital. During his visit, he will meet with Hungarian Parliament Speaker László Kövér, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, and President Katalin Novák.

The Georgian delegation, led by Papuashvili, includes notable parliamentary members: Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chairman of the European Integration Committee Levan Makhashvili, Deputy Chair of the Georgian Dream faction Henrietta Tsitsava, and Irakli Mezurnishvili, Head of the Georgia-Hungary Parliamentary Friendship Group and First Deputy Chair of the Sectoral Economy and Economic Policy Committee.
