Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha on Friday responded to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó, following remarks he had made about President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“We are beginning to see many things, Péter, including your Government’s hypocrisy and moral degradation, your open and covert work against Ukraine and the rest of Europe, and your service as a Kremlin lackey. No amount of attacks on our President can change what we and everyone else see,” Sybiha wrote.

His comments came after President Zelenskyy stated that Hungarian reconnaissance drones had likely violated Ukraine’s airspace, possibly to observe the country’s defence industry.

Szijjártó dismissed Zelenskyy’s statement, saying on social media: “Zelenskyy is losing his mind with his anti-Hungarian obsession, now starting to see things that do not exist”.
