The bodies of a man and his two children have been discovered in a lake in Gardabani, a municipality located in Georgia’s southeastern Kvemo Kartli region, prompting an official investigation.

According to initial reports, the deceased were residents of Kvemo Khodasheni, a village in the Telavi Municipality in eastern Georgia’s Kakheti region. Local villagers said that the family had been missing for two days before law enforcement officers located their bodies on Tuesday.
