Law enforcement officers have begun detaining protesters participating in demonstrations on Rustaveli Avenue.

Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs issued a statement accusing “violent groups within the protest” of committing multiple illegal acts. The Ministry warned that every unlawful action would face an appropriate legal response from the police.
