Ruslan Stefanchuk, head of the Ukrainian Rada, has welcomed today’s decision of Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili to visit Ukraine, stating that both countries will win.

“In an interview for Imedi TV (yesterday) I said that I hope for a response from Shalva Papuashvili to my invitation to visit Ukraine. I am ready to discuss with him all the details of the visit. Our countries are territorially bitten by Russia, but we will win. It will be a victory about which the legends will be,” Stefanchuk has tweeted.

Papuashvili has praised Ukraine for its “exemplary” fight for its future, stating that his visit was expected to resolve all existing controversies.

He stated that he would discuss  all the details of the visit with Stefanchuk later today.
